Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of StudyFlow. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use StudyFlow.

You must be at least 13 years old to create a StudyFlow account. If you are under 18, you may use StudyFlow only with the consent of a parent or guardian where required by your local law. You are responsible for how you use the platform at all times.

StudyFlow provides AI-generated study aids from materials you provide: study guides, flashcards, quizzes, lecture transcripts, summaries, and an interactive AI Tutor. These tools are study aids only.

• AI can make mistakes. Generated content may contain errors or omissions.
• StudyFlow does not guarantee any grade, exam result, or academic success.
• You are responsible for verifying important academic information — including quiz answers, explanations, and summaries — against your course materials and with your instructors when appropriate.
• You are responsible for using StudyFlow in accordance with your school's academic integrity policies. StudyFlow is a study tool, not a way to complete assignments or exams for you.

You keep ownership of everything you upload to StudyFlow, including documents, notes, recordings, and images. By uploading content, you give us permission to store and process it in order to provide the service to you.

You must have the right to upload what you upload. Course materials are often protected by copyright, and you are responsible for ensuring you have permission to upload and process the materials you submit. Do not upload materials you do not have the right to use.

Copyright complaints. If you believe content on StudyFlow infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@studyflow.app identifying the work and the allegedly infringing material. We will review it and remove infringing content where appropriate, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly infringe.

You may not use StudyFlow to break the law, harm others, or interfere with the service. Our full Acceptable Use Policy is published separately and is incorporated into these Terms.

• Paid plans are billed through our payment processor at the prices shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.
• Prices exclude applicable taxes, which are added at checkout.
• We may change prices going forward, but changes will not apply mid-billing-period without notice.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. You may stop using StudyFlow and delete your account at any time by contacting us.

StudyFlow relies on third-party providers for hosting, AI processing, payments, and optional learning-platform connections (such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard). We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of those services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

StudyFlow is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or accuracy of AI-generated content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudyFlow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost grades, lost assignments, or lost data. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these Terms. We will notify account holders of significant changes, and your continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
